Murals

Murals are powerful, large-scale visual storytelling tools that communicate ideas and evoke emotion in public spaces. Embedded directly within the community, murals and other forms of street art invite opinions, spark conversations, and foster connections.

In our workshops and festivals, young people co-design and paint vibrant murals that reflect the daily realities, ancestral knowledge, and dreams of their agro-fishing villages. Whether it’s an underwater scene, a portrait of fisherfolk, or an imagined world where humans and nature coexist in harmony, these murals celebrate culture and bring visibility to the voices of young people on the streets. Creating murals fosters teamwork, creativity, and a strong sense of place. It builds confidence and helps youth see art as a tool for transformation—a way to communicate, connect, and shape change through relationships and shared storytelling. After all, change only moves at the speed of trust.
