Stop-motion animation is an audiovisual storytelling technique in which objects or figures are manipulated and photographed frame by frame to create the illusion of movement. Stop-motion is a fantastic participatory educational tool for preserving local stories and culture, developing language and communication skills, raising social and environmental awareness, promoting problem-solving and teamwork, teaching technology and digital skills, and fostering self-expression. Participants in our workshops, programs, and festivals collaborate to plan, design, and animate scenes, fostering creative, critical thinking, and cooperation.
