Art, Design & Upcycling workshops invite youth to transform everyday and discarded materials into creative expressions, useful objects, and new ideas. Rooted in local culture, place, and environmental realities, these activities encourage participants to explore the relationships between consumption, waste, creativity, and care for their surroundings. Whether creating sculptures from marine debris, designing objects from reused materials, or experimenting with illustration, collage, and craft, young people build confidence, strengthen problem-solving skills, and discover how art can communicate ideas, inspire action, and give new life to what might otherwise be thrown away.
